-41°C low temperature starting device can be installed in the vehicle to enable immediate vehicle start in deep cold areas. The wheels use bulletproof and explosion-proof tires.

The design of the ZFB05 is standard with the engine in the front, the crew compartment in the middle and the troop compartment in the rear. The front of the main body is fitted with two large bulletproof windows and a single door on each side of the hull. There is a large door at the rear that opens to the right and has a small bulletproof window. The ZFB05 hull is a completely enclosed structure. The exterior shape of the vehicle is a sloping polygonal geometry. The isotopic bulletproof steel plates of the hull are welded together. A V-shaped bulletproof structure is set under the vehicle. Bulletproof glass of the same grade is completely installed on all the glass doors of the vehicle body. Several clear windows and hatches have been designed on both sides and the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle has very strong attack and protection capabilities. All sides of the vehicle are protected against the fire of the Chinese Type-56 assault rifle, a small 7.62mm caliber (similar to the Russian AK-47 assault rifle). The ZFB05 provides better armor protection than civilian-based armored vehicles at a lower unit cost than standard military armored fighting vehicles. The vehicle is suitable for low-intensity operations such as peacekeeping, riot control, and law enforcement.

The Tiger 4×4 is powered by a Cummins ISDE200-30 Diesel engine that produces 200 horsepower at 2,700 rpm. The Tiger can run at a maximum road speed of 110 km/h with a maximum operating range of 600 km.
