CMI Defense Training and Simulation Systems

CMI Defense Training and Simulation Systems

CMI Defense is capable of providing its customers with highly developed simulation systems that are applicable to a full range of weapon systems. Simulators offer customized training solutions across the full spectrum of military requirements, including basic drill practice, operational and tactical levels. These networkable systems deliver the entire military training program for crews, divisions and platoons in a cost-effective manner. These systems are scalable and allow for endless possibilities in terms of situations and environments, allowing for continuous crew training.

Based on intensive use of COTS solutions, CMI Defense's simulation and training systems are high-performance tools that provide diverse interaction scenarios as well as enhanced post-action assessment and analysis. high. The CMI Defense philosophies have been realized in a group of flexible tools that can be easily tailored to meet the individual needs of real-world Users. Recent developments have removed the limitations of historical boundaries and the corresponding simulation systems can now be fully integrated. This combination removes training area restrictions and enables the implementation of mobile simulation-based training systems.

CMI Defense's turrets and weapons systems use a common underlying computing and avionics system, in which CMI Defense's simulation systems are easily networked. The advantage of CMI Defense's ability to connect and disconnect various combat systems to a virtual training environment was clearly demonstrated at Eurosatory 2014, where CMI Defense demonstrated two simulation and training products. My training is applied to the Cockerill LCTS 90MP turret hardware. The turret embedded system is networked with an external PC based emulation system. The use of operating hardware in this simulation system gives very high realism to the turret crew, increases the adaptability of the training system and increases the range of training targets. This was further demonstrated at Eurosatory 2014 on a Vulcain stand, where CMI Defense connected the Cockerill LCTS 90MP 'Embedded' Cockerill LCTS turret to an extensive network of third-party simulators. Up to five other simulators are connected to the Cockerill LCTS 90MP Embedded Simulation system to enable multi-weapons training (including infantry and helicopter support in the same scenario).
