Tiger 4×4 APC
At the Eurosatory 2012 Defense Exhibition held in Paris in June 2012, the Chinese defense company Shaanxi Baoji Special Vehicle Manufacturing introduced the new Tiger 4×4 armored personnel carrier (APC) to the international market. The Tiger uses a 4×4 off-road truck chassis that provides high mobility in all terrain conditions. The Tiger APC has a crew of two, including the commander and driver, and can carry 9 fully equipped infantrymen. The vehicle has undergone numerous off-road tests and demonstrated excellent mobility in all terrains and all weather conditions. The vehicle has demonstrated effective protection against the fire of the Chinese 7.62mm Type 56 machine gun. During these firing tests, the CEO of Shaanxi Baoji Special Vehicle Manufacturing Company, Mister Wang Bao Ho, was inside the vehicle.

The vehicle can climb the 60% full slope and overcome a depth of 800 mm without preparation and 1.2 m with preparation.
The layout of the Tiger 4×4 is conventional with the engine at the front, the crew cabin in the middle and the infantry compartment at the rear. Behind the commander and driver's positions are the seats, with three individual seats and a bench running along the sides of the hull. The front of the crew compartment is fitted with two large bulletproof windows. The commander and driver have a one-piece visor that opens to the rear. There are two single doors on each side of the hull, with a small bulletproof window. A large door is provided at the rear of the hull that opens to the right. Above the troop compartment are two roof hatches that open outwards. On either side of the rear troop compartment are two bulletproof windows with a firing port underneath, allowing some soldiers to fire their weapons from inside the vehicle. The Tiger 4×4's fully welded steel armour provides protection against 7.62mm Type 53 assault rifle-piercing rounds at the front and 7.62mm rounds at the front at 100m.
The Tiger 4×4 is powered by a Cummins ISDE200-30 Diesel engine that produces 200 horsepower at 2,700 rpm. The Tiger can run at a maximum road speed of 110 km/h with a maximum operating range of 600 km.
