TDM SUCCESSFULLY TESTED LONG WHEEL DISPOSAL (3D & FAT) SYSTEM

At 9:00 am on July 3, 2019, the test run of the Derailment Detection and Extended Derailment Prevention system (3D&FAT) was successfully held at Yen Vien wagon repair workshop - Yen Vien town - Gia Lam - Hanoi.

The 3D&FAT system is a Derailment Detection device (DDD) manufactured by All Rail System Company, SL (ARS), represented and officially distributed by TDM Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company in Vietnam. After the recent derailment incidents that have not been found to be remedied, the 3D&FAT system will be the solution to help minimize the damage to people and property when incidents occur.

The test session had representatives of Vietnam Railways Corporation, Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, Railway Transport and Trading Joint Stock Company, etc. At the test run, ARS and TDM engineers. With the help of technicians of Yen Vien workshop, the train with 3D&FAT system was tested on a track about 50m in the workshop.

The test run of the train with 3D&FAT equipment was conducted at a slow speed and gradually increased to 5-10km/h. After the forced derailment occurred, the device immediately worked and activated the brake system, stopping the train to stop.

The test took place successfully under the witness of guests and a large number of engineers. After the test session, a discussion was held to confirm the results obtained, some questions about the 3D&FAT System were also resolved.

Previously, at the end of March 2019, French CEO - Mr. Jean Piere, represented by TDM Trading and Investment Joint Stock Company, went to Vietnam to introduce the 3D&FAT system, specifically at Joint Stock Company. Hanoi Railway Transport, Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company and Di An Railway Joint Stock Company.
